You have no doubt noticed our demonstrations and protests in front of your store. We would like you to know that they will increase in frequency in the upcoming months. It is our commitment to stop animal suffering, and to this goal, we will strive long and hard with no end.
It is, however, regrettable that we have not had a discussion about these issues which affect us both. This letter, therefore, is an invitation to discuss the fur trade which you promote through the goods in your store. This discussion may be held at your discretion. Contact us and we can arrange for a public meeting hall where the citizens of this city may attend and at a time which works for both our schedules.
You may wonder what this discussion will pertain to. We will ask only that you justify the goods you sell upon which the suffering of animals is dependent upon. We, in counter point, will justify our demonstrations of conscience in explaining why we feel what the fur industry does to animals is wrong and must be ended.
You may be wondering now why you have to justify your actions. The reason is that we live in a community of concerned citizens. As a community, we have the right to remove abhorrent practices from the vicinity, as this is a democracy. America is not a country where one may set up any business they choose they are always defined by public standards, and as such, our community here in Salt Lake City has the right to choose the appropriateness of a business such as your own.
We thank you for your time, and look forward to a chance where we may discuss this in a peaceful environment with citizens of the city in attendance.
In Good Faith,
Eric Ward

We have been waiting to hear from you concerning our desire to discuss issues that pertain to both of us. You, however, have not responded. We still would like to talk with you we assume you would like to talk to us as well, as our weekly protest is most likely becoming somewhat of an annoyance to you and your customers.
We have taken the initiative and have scheduled a room for us to discuss the fur trade and how it impacts all of us. We have reserved the Lecture Hall in the Salt Lake City Public Library. It is located at 209 East, 500 South, in downtown Salt Lake City. We have reserved the room from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 7th. We hope this works for you. If not, please contact us and we will reschedule this meeting.
We look forward to your confirmation of attendance to this discussion.
In Good Faith,
Eric Ward
